THE SEVEN WONDERS OF TUSCANY

Once Events, a Florence event organization agency, conceived and created The Seven Wonders of Tuscany, an exhibition set up in the Polveriera area of the Fortezza da Basso on the occasion of the 83rd International Crafts Fair. The project has attracted important support from the highest exponents of artistic craftsmanship at an international level who produce in the regional territory. Once Events has developed research to identify the precious gems of the territory, capable of combining knowledge of ancient manufacturing techniques with elements of contemporary design and craftsmanship, thus revealing the typical richness of small treasures – where craftsmanship becomes art.

Concept
A journey in search of the art of knowing how to do things. At the center of the exhibition itinerary is Matter – synthesized in alabaster, bronze, ceramic, iron, marble, gold, tobacco – which dialogues with the Nature of the Tuscan landscape. However, the Hand of Man is the true protagonist, capable of shaping, shaping, developing and interpreting the vision of artistic craftsmanship, the result of work, tradition and passion that is handed down through entire generations. And with it the Mind, which accompanies thought in the setting of an ideal Agora, which aims to be an invitation to discover these wonders and to the events that will populate the Polveriera Workshops.

A visual and relational experience, in close contact with the master craftsmen from Carrara, Pietrasanta, Scarperia, Montelupo Fiorentino, Empoli, Florence, Campi Bisenzio, Volterra and Lucca, with precious elements and authentic works of art.
