An event blending tradition, art and spectacle in the heart of Florence
The fourth edition of the Carnevale di Firenze has successfully concluded, transforming the historic center of Florence into a stage of creativity, elegance and shared celebration.
Over two consecutive days, the city welcomed residents and visitors into an immersive experience that seamlessly combined Florence’s millennia-old history with contemporary influences, enhancing art, entertainment and tradition through an engaging and memorable format.
Charity Gala Dinner at Palazzo Vecchio and the Grand Ball of the Queens
The event opened with the exclusive Charity Gala Dinner in the Salone dei Cinquecento at Palazzo Vecchio, one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
The highlight of the evening was the evocative Grand Ball of the Queens, conceived and curated by Venetian fashion designer and costume creator Antonia Sautter.
Masked dances, live musical performances, theatrical moments and striking scenography created a unique atmosphere, transporting guests on a sensory journey through history, elegance and creativity.
The charitable purpose was a central element of the project: net proceeds were donated to the Fondazione Tommasino Bacciotti, contributing directly to the realization of the grand city parade on February 1.
The Grand Parade on February 1 in Florence’s Historic Center
The closing parade, held on Sunday, February 1 in central Florence, brought the city streets to life with elaborate floats, artistic costumes, performers and live music.
A truly citywide spectacle, it engaged a diverse audience and strengthened the connection between culture, entertainment and the local community. A moment of collective celebration that confirms the Carnevale as a landmark among Florence’s major events, capable of combining high-quality entertainment with meaningful social impact.
