Every summer, one of Versilia’s most beloved traditions returns to the shores of Forte dei Marmi. For over three decades, A Tavola sulla Spiaggia has brought together food lovers, hospitality professionals, designers, journalists and local personalities to celebrate one of Italy’s greatest passions: gathering around a beautifully set table.
Now in its 34th edition the event has become a tribute to creativity, conviviality and the Italian way of transforming every meal into an unforgettable experience. Each participating team presents not only a signature dish, but an entire table concept, where food, styling, storytelling and hospitality come together to express a unique vision.
Every year the competition explores a different culinary theme. The 2026 edition celebrated the creativity of cucina di recupero – the Italian tradition of reducing food waste by transforming simple, everyday ingredients into refined and flavourful dishes. Rather than focusing on luxury ingredients, participants showcased imagination, sustainability and respect for culinary heritage.
The coveted Scolapasta d’Oro was awarded to Serena Mannino and Simone Bellocci for their interpretation of the classic Sicilian Caponata, while many other participants received recognition for dishes inspired by regional Italian traditions and seasonal ingredients.
The gastronomic experience was completed by carefully selected wine pairings from some of Italy’s most celebrated wine regions, highlighting the country’s extraordinary diversity and reinforcing the connection between food, territory and culture.
For Once Events, A Tavola sulla Spiaggia has become much more than an annual appointment. For the past years, we have proudly contributed to the organisation of this remarkable event behind the scenes, helping bring every detail to life.
