THE CONSTRUCTION RULE OF THE DOME OF SANTA MARIA DEL FIORE

On 9 November 2011, at the Salone di Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio, Once organized the conference “The construction rule of the dome of Santa Maria del Fiore”, organized by Professor Massimo Ricci, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano and UNESCO. In the Salon, the parchment by Giovanni di Gherardo da Prato was also exhibited – for the first time – the reference point for a small exhibition on the models of Brunelleschi’s machines later donated to the Opera di Santa Maria del Fiore.

The Once agency took care of the organization of the event and the press office activity, creating, in collaboration with Toscana TV, live streaming with the Universities of Harvard and Oklahoma, the Polytechnic University of Valencia as well as all web users who were able to follow the conference live on the National Geographic Society website and on the domain.
